Dr. David Hood

Director of Governance and Strategic Planning

The Restoration Place NC is committed to operating legally and at the highest ethical levels as we endeavor to carry out our mission of empowering people to be the best versions of themselves. In his role as Director of Governance and Strategic Planning, Dr. Hood is responsible for working with Pastor E and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure we develop and implement by-laws and policies that enables the staff and board to run the organization legally, ethically, sustainably. Dr. Hood is a founding member of the ministry, having initially served on both the Plant Committee and Launch Team. David holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and serves as the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Minnesota State University, Mankato. In this role he provides strategic and visionary leadership for Mankato’s academic enterprise and is the second highest ranking University Administrator. Dr. Hood loves to travel, enjoy time with family and friends and HBCU Bands.
